Backup Films movies selected all over the world

Venice, Jerusalem, San Sebastian, Toronto: Backup movies travel worldwide on the International Film Festivals scene.

Unforgivable directed by André Téchiné and produced in association with Coficup opened the 68th edition of the Venice Film Festival, on the 30th of August. Poulet aux prunes directed by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Parronnaud, co-distributed by Cinéart and Districup, competes for the Golden Lion.

The Beautiful Valley directed by Hadar Friedlich and produced by Les Films du Poisson in association with Coficup, won the Best Full-Length Debut Film Award at the Jerusalem Film Festival.

Skylab, directed by Julie Delpy (2 days in Paris), produced by The Film in association with Coficup, has been selected at the San Sebastian Festival.

Finally, adapted from Douglas Kennedy, Pawel Pawlikowski’s The Woman in the Fifth, starring Ethan Hawk and Kristin Scott-Thomas and Nanni Moretti’s We have a pope (Habemus Papam) which premiered at the last Cannes Film Festival will screen at the Toronto Film Festival.
