2009-10-07

The Sitges International Festival of Fantastic Cinema, one of the most prestigious festival for genre films, has selected in Official Competition two films produced in association with Backup Films' funds.

Following its selection at Venice Days, The Horde by Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher, is now presented in Official Competition at Sitges. This take on zombies film is a fresh breath of air as it sees bent police officers and gang members cooperate to outlive an army of living-deads. After two selections in Locarno and Toronto films festivals, Happy End by Arnaud and Jean-Marie Larrieu, will compete in Sitges. Happy End is produced by Soudaine Compagnie in association with SOFICA COFICUP 3 / Backup Films.
